Toyota Forklifts and Pallet Trucks Lend a ‘Lift,’ Helping Unload More than 35 Tons of Food to Benefit Those in Need
COLUMBUS, Ind., (Feb. 4, 2014) – Toyota Material Handling, U.S.A., Inc. (TMHU) successfully participated in the Tri-State Toyota Dealers’ seventh annual food donation, serving as a key partner, along with Toyota Motor Sales, U.S.A., and Toyota Financial Services to collect and distribute nonperishable food to benefit the non-profit hunger relief organization, Philabundance.
TMHU, working with local dealer Toyota Material Handling Northeast, Inc., donated the use of four 8-Series pneumatic lift trucks and one walkie pallet truck to help unload more than 35 tons of nonperishable food from a convoy of 49 Toyota Tundras.
In total, more than 35 tons of non-perishable goods were collected that will benefit the Philadelphia region’s largest hunger relief organization.
